NEWS dec 2012:

During the last year Marine Power has been working with the up-grading of the bulk carrier Seahorse design to have a much more fuel efficient vessel. This task has been carried out on behalf of Chinese clients. Several measures have been introduced. This is from simple low cost improvements like increase of insulation of outward bulkheads to more technical issues, like main engine cylinder and turbocharger cut out systems etc.
Many of these solutions can be installed on any existing vessel, regardless type and age.

During the year we have done inspection and evaluation of several vessels from Owners & Investors. Another task has been to assist at the Arbitration in London on behalf of Owners and Chinese Ship Yards.

Further Marine Power has signed contracts for  the drawing, plan approval and new building supervision of new eco efficient vessel's from Chinese and Japanese yards. These projects are running into year 2015.
We wish all our clients, colleagues and friends a merry x-mas and a happy New Year.
